Trail Overview

Trail 12V - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 12V is an original trail to the park. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with skill. Trail 12V is just under a 1/10th of a mile in length. It intersects the Coal Haul Road and Main Street at Trail 12F. This trail is dirt with both embedded rocks and loose rocks, areas of rutting, and a short and steep incline. Trail 12V is all in the open with a view of the Coal Haul Road looking towards Locust and Red Oak Campgrounds in one location. This trail is a U shape, all on a grade. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in July 2025.

Difficulty

This is an uneven, rutted dirt trail with loose rocks and washes and minor mud holes. The trail is one vehicle wide with limited places to pass.
