Trail 12N - Rock Run Recreation Area

Trail Overview

Trail 12N- A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Trail 12N is an original trail to the park. It should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with some skill. Trail 12N is a loop trail just under a half mile in length, starting and ending at Eastern Flats Road trail. This trail is dirt with both embedded rocks and some loose rocks. The trail does have a few spots with standing water, with the potential for some hidden rocks in the water. The trail is narrow and relatively flat. One end of the trail is at Rocky's Play Pond and offers several opportunities to exit the trail and enter the pond. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail that offers a different experience when ridden in both directions. Trail driven and documented in July 2025.

Difficulty

This is an uneven, rutted dirt trail with loose rocks and washes and large mud holes with the potential to be up to a foot deep. The trail is one vehicle wide with limited places to pass.
