T-743/T-727

Trail Overview

The trail starts off in Poyntelle as Township-727 and in Winterdale as T-743. This section of the O and W Trail is a recognized Township route and is open to street-licensed 4x4s. The trail follows the former route of the Ohio and Western Railroad. Multiple former stations can be observed along the route. Be mindful of ATV traffic. The trail becomes groomed snowmobile trail in winter so, be respectful. Please respect private property and do not leave the Township-owned route. The side trails are only for snowmobiles in winter.

Difficulty

rock ledges and mud holes may be encountered. downed trees and limbs will be encountered. tight areas may require backing up a distance. hill climb areas may be slippery.
