Trail Overview

Strongs Mountain Trail is a fun and easy mountain road in Bald Eagle State Forest. It is a very scenic drive throughout and takes you to some beautiful Pennsylvania vistas. After a heavy rain, there will be many large puddles to drive through with a mud-less bottom. It is an unmaintained road but very tame. Strong potential for fallen trees.

we took strongs mountain from bear gap picnic area up to where it meets up with longwell draft. the trail isn't tough but higher clearance is needed to get over the 12" or less rocks the make up most of the trail.
