Trail Overview
Rhino Path - A trail of the Rock Run Recreation Area. Rhino path is ranked Green and should be able to be traversed by any semi-skilled rider on bike, ATV or SxS. At just over 6 miles, this is one of the longest trails at the facility. Named in honor of Yamaha Motorsports, which originally helped with funding to build this trail. This trail has minimal intersections, and in certain sections, you will have to ride several miles before having an opportunity to exit. A windmill access road now intersects the trail and will provide an up-close view of the structure. The trail loops back and forth through meadow lands and reclaimed pine forests. The trail surface is dirt and small rocks with a few large obstacles. You will encounter standing water and mud, even during the dry summer months. Choose your line appropriately or risk deep, slick mud. Some water holes are deeper than a foot. The trail is mainly wide enough for one SxS with locations to pull off and pass. Some areas have parallel trails around mud holes. Some of these parallel trails are narrow between planted pine trees. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in June 2025.
