Trail Overview
Play Pond Path Blue Trail - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Located at the Northern End of the park, Play Pond Path Blue Trail should be able to be traversed by anyone with a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with a little skill. At 1.3 miles in length, it was built as part of the second phase of the park. One end starts off from Pat's Flats, and the other end is at the Play Pond. As a meandering trail to get to the Play Pond, this trail travels through both the woods and open meadows. It offers a variety of terrain with embedded rocks, locations with loose rocks, ruts, hills, and flat sections. You may also encounter some mud in locations and a few locations with some tight vegetation. There are some intersecting trails along Play Pond Path Blue to include Rouge's Path Road and Hop Run. This trail is open to motorcycles, OHV, ATV, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in August 2025.
