Trail Overview
Pat's Flats - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Located at the Northern End of the park, Pat's Flats should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. At 1 mile in length, it was built as part of the second phase of the park. Named after one of Rock Run's founding members, Pat L., Pat's Flats is relatively flat, though it does have some small rolling elevation changes. One end starts near the vault toilet on Mailbox Road, and the other end intersects at Raptor Path. There is only one intersection along its length with Play Pond Path. Located mostly within the open meadows, there is one section that travels through a stand of white birch trees. Pat's flats contain mostly embedded rocks on the trail, but there are a few sections with some loose rocks, along with potential rutting on the trail. This trail is open to motorcycles, ATVs, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in August 2025.
