Trail Overview
OHV 1 - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. OHV 1 is a designated Off-Highway Vehicle Trail and should be able to be traversed by anyone with some patience and a little skill. OHV 1 is mostly a flat trail with minimal elevation change over almost 4/10ths of a mile. OHV 1 starts at Radio Road and quickly crosses over Turbine 14 Road before entering a wooded section. OHV 1 was originally a point-to-point trail, but was impacted as part of the windmill construction in 2025, which cut one end of the trail short. A user can choose to exit the trail at the cut segment or choose to continue on OHV 1 before it doubles back on itself mid-trail. A portion of OHV 1 is a dirt road, with the remainder of the trail being mostly multiple embedded rocks. These rocks almost resemble a cobblestone road and are less than a foot in height. You will encounter some tight trees and a few sharp turns and some potential low limbs, but they should not present any issues to users with a little care. It is one vehicle wide for the entirety. This trail is open to any off-highway vehicles. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience running it in both directions. Trail driven and documented in November 2025.
