Trail Overview

Meade Run is a wide and smooth gravel road in the Allegheny National Forest. It is a main connector road in the Bradford Ranger District, between Route 219 and numerous forest roads further to the west. The eastern end of the road also provides access to two marsh ponds, as well as many places to park and access Meade Run (creek). The road is generally wide enough to pass comfortably throughout, and the majority is flat or has gradual grades and gentle curves. Several densely wooded evergreen sections make this a beautiful drive in any season. There is no winter maintenance, so exercise caution when traveling when snow or ice is present.
