FR339/237 Red Lick/Red Mill

Trail Overview

This is a graded Forest Service road between Owl Nest and Route 948. There are several stopping points for lunch or to stretch the legs--one on the banks of Bear Creek offers a great camping spot. There are a few smaller spurs to test your rig over natural forest terrain. These are all dead ends, so plan ahead if you are with more than a couple of rigs so there is room to maneuver.

Difficulty

This is an easy trail, but in heavy rain or snow, there are some areas prone to rutting and ice build-up. There's no winter maintenance.
