Fern Way - Rock Run Recreation Area

Trail Overview

Fern Way - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Located at the Northern End of the park, Fern Way should be able to be traversed by anyone with a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. At 6/10ths of a mile in length, it is almost a complete loop. With both ends starting on Skunk Loop, the intersections are only about 150 apart from one another. This trail is mostly embedded rocks, with some minor rutting. Fern Way travels mostly through the woods and offers a variety of woodland views. There are some sections of ferns as well. This trail is open to motorcycles, SxSs, and ATVs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in August 2025.

This is an easier dirt trail. You may encounter some obstacles under 12 inches, potential uneven terrain, and/or loose rocks. This trail is one vehicle wide with locations to pass.
