Trail Overview
Coyote Pass Trail - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Located at the Northern End of the park, Coyote Pass Trail should be able to be traversed by anyone on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS. At 3/10ths of a mile in length, it was reduced in length as part of the windmill construction project in 2025 when a portion of the trail became the new Coyote Pass Road. The Coyote Pass Trail meets Coyote Pass Road at one end and Blue Pipe and Short Lane at the other end. It does have some slight change in elevation, loose stone, potential mud, and/or standing water, and rutting. There is only one intersection along its length with Skunk Loop. Located mostly within the woods, you will pass a nice pond, which would be a good spot to stop for a snack and enjoy nature. This trail is open to motorcycles, OHV, ATV, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in August 2025.
