Boggs Ridge Road is an ungraded dirt road. It is an easy ride in the summer months, however there is no winter maintenance. During times of rain, snow, and ice the road will become washed out and deeply rutted and harder to travel on. Boggs Ridge Road is within Sproul State Forest. Boggs Ridge Road is a dead-end trail that ends at the Sproul State Forest boundary. There is ample room to turn around for a group of vehicles.

Boggs Ridge Road is primarily an ungraded dirt road. It will become heavily rutted and washed out in the spring due to snow melting. There is no winter maintenance on this road so during times of snow and ice in the winter it will become harder. The ruts can be over a foot deep at times and there can be standing water in the low sections during snow runoff and heavy spring rains.
