Trail Overview
Big Buck Hill - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. Located on the Northern end of the facility, Big Buck Hill is just under 3/10ths of a mile. This trail changes about 250 feet in elevation over its length. One end starts at the railroad tracks gate at the end of Rouge's Harbor Road, and the other end ends at Turkey Flats Road. This trail does intersect Big Buck Trail in the middle, which serves as a short break in the elevation change. You will encounter both embedded and loose rocks, with the potential for rutting and changing trail conditions due to the elevation change. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. This trail is open to motorcycles, SxSs, and ATVs. Trail driven and documented in August 2025.
