Trail Overview
10 Seconds - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. 10 Seconds is a long-standing trail of Rock Run Recreation, although it never had a name until the Fall of 2025. In honor of the American Woods Racing Series (AWRCS), which holds a yearly race at Rock Run, 10 seconds means it's time to race. 10 Seconds was born out of the AWRCS races and has now become one of the many trails at Rock Run. It is mostly a dirt trail with embedded rocks, though there are some loose rocks, especially after race weekend. One end of 10 Seconds starts on Coal Haul Road, and the other end on Lower Saddle. It should be able to be traversed by most any rider on a motorcycle, ATV, or SxS with little skill. At a little over 3/10ths of a mile in length, this trail is part of the larger network at Rock Run. While parts of the trail are narrower, overall this is a wider trail and allows plenty of opportunity to pass your competition. Oh wait, that's during the race, keep it safe. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. This is a two-way trail and offers a different experience riding it both directions. Trail driven and documented in November 2025.
