Trail Overview

You'll find a couple of small water crossings on this easy trail. It will be slippery when wet or snowy. It's right off of a gravel road and takes you to some very nice ponds. It does have couple of steep hills with ruts and is narrow. Full-size vehicles will fit but you may get some scratches.

There was a truck blocking the trail (in front of the second picture) It was left abandoned around the ponds between James and Brady road. I let DNR know, so hopefully they’ve got it removed this week. Still had some fun and got some camping in!

A pretty neat trail. We started on Brady Rd and got on James Rd at the fire tower, then turned right to go down the hill back onto Brady Rd. Most of it is gravel with just potholes here and there. Going down the hill towards Brady Rd was pretty muddy and chewed up. There’s possible body damage to be had if you slide off the high side and smash into the ruts. Everything else was easy going and beautiful, we actually saw multiple street bikes traveling on James Rd. There are some mud pits, but they are avoidable if that’s not your thing. A couple water crossings no more than 12” deep and camping spots all along the trail. This was my friend’s first off-roading experience and he was driving my TJ on 31s. So, it’s really not too bad.
