Trail Overview

This road offers some scenic views of the surrounding countryside on the west end and a gorgeous view of Keuka Lake on the east end. On the Keuka Lake end you can find one of the local wineries just down the road and several vineyards. During the Fall it offers great fall foliage and the smell of grapes at harvest time.

Difficulty

Due to a washout the road has been repaired but there is still piles of gravel and a few small shale ledges. The ledges have been graded away but may worsen as the road weathers. This is a seasonal road so travel could be difficult after heavy snow, rain, or ice.
