Trail Overview

The trail consists of a broad gravel base that is regularly maintained. Drivers can expect a stable surface with minimal challenges. Logging operations are common in this area, so the road may be freshly plowed or graded to accommodate the logging trucks and heavy equipment. At the western end of the trail lies the Baptist Church Burying Ground, a quiet and historic cemetery that offers a unique side quest for those interested in local history. Several spur trails exist; however, some may be gated at certain times of the year to allow the management of the forest.

Difficulty

Grades are gentle, and the road width allows for easy passing in most areas. Snow wheeling could be a challenge as the roads have drainage ditches on either side that may not be obvious under snow cover.
