Trail Overview
This road runs along the eastern edge of the gorge of Letchworth State Park. The road is closed during the winter months, but is open to the public during Spring, Summer, and Fall. The road is initially paved, but in rough shape, up to the parade grounds area. After that, it turns to dirt and offers several panoramic views of the gorge. The further down the road you go, the less traveled the road becomes. Several local hiking trails, parking areas, and campsites (by permit only) can be found along its length. Letchworth State Park is a canyon/gorge with several waterfalls and attracts tourists from far and wide. This road does not require payment to access like the West Park Road.
