Trail Overview
This trail offers a variety of terrain on either side of the trail from meadows to deep pine woods. If you follow this route to the end it does dead end at a closed gate with plenty of space to turn around. There is a large camping area at the start of the trail if you are looking for a secluded spot to camp.

Difficulty
There is not much in the way of difficulty on this trail when there is no snow on the ground. When snow is present, there exists a strong potential for icy ruts and icy sheets covering the road on western-facing hillsides. In the wintertime, 4WD is a must, and carry self-recovery gear. The potential for soft shoulders and downed trees and limbs blocking passage are always things to be aware of and prepared for.
