Trail Overview
Forest Service Road 3829, also known as Heather, is a 2.2-mile road that offers many opportunities for camping with its dispersed camping spots and a nice, long road for those evening walks. There is plentiful wildlife along this route, and it is an excellent place to be away. This great out-of-the-way trail doesn't see much traffic and offers fantastic views from the hilltops. Once you reach the shoreline line, there is a short rocky uphill section before it levels out on top of the ridge with a campsite at the end of the road.
