Green 229 is located on the east side of the park. This is a non-directional trail so you can run it from either end. Green 229 connects to Green 227 at both ends. You will cross over a small section of Copperhead 296 at one end. Otherwise, there are no other trails that you can access from this one.

There are no major obstacles along this trail. It is not very well traveled so overgrowth of shrubs and bushes may cause pinstriping to your vehicle's paint.
