Trail Overview
The Two Hearted Trail System is the northernmost 50-inch-or-less ORV trail in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. During spring, summer, and fall, it becomes an excellent spot for camping, fishing, and enjoying an all-day ride on a dirt bike or quad. The Two Hearted Trail (North) offers two distinct types of terrain: hard-packed sections winding through dense forest and low pine trees, and long stretches of super-sandy, twisty trail full of berms and intersections. The trail is mostly flat, fast, and flowy. Be careful, as it's bi-directional.

Difficulty
This trail includes a short, steep section of very loose sand that can be uphill or downhill depending on direction of travel, with no other technical features. Riding after rainfall is recommended to reduce dust and improve traction, giving the surface a smooth, motocross-style feel.
