Trail Overview
Swanson Road is located in Ontonagon County, Michigan. This trail runs from its intersection with US Highway 45 to its intersection with FR-5320. This is a short access trail that will allow road-legal vehicles easy access to the southern Ontonagon County trails. The trail itself consists of wide open gravel roads with excellent sight lines. The surrounding scenery is mature forests with rolling hills. The trail has several large, sweeping corners, which can be very fun, depending on the vehicle used. This trail is open year-round to all vehicle types; however, it may not be plowed out through the winter months. Additionally, Trail FR-5320, which this trail intersects, is a groomed snowmobile trail from December 1st- March 31st.

Difficulty
This trail can be completed by individuals of all skill levels, as well as all vehicle types. The trail itself has very few obstacles and has excellent sightlines. The trail surface lends itself to less capable vehicles looking to get out and explore. Additionally, there are other trails in the area that offer a very similar driving experience and difficulty level for these vehicle types.
