Trail Overview

Silver Hill Trail is a unique Michigan bidirectional trail within the Pinckney State Recreation Area. Located just south of Hell between Highway 96 and 94, this trail is easily accessible. Starting from the northern end of D-32, you'll start out right next to the city of Hell. If you haven't checked this little gem out, I would highly recommend doing so. It's quirky and interesting to say the least. You'll twist and turn along this route as you come across some sections of lush trees and vegetation. Be sure to take it all in. This trail dead-ends on the other side of the Crooked Lake Trail. Please TREAD LIGHTLY so future generations can enjoy these public spaces. Like most of Michigan's offroad trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause unfavorable conditions on the trail, including downed trees, mud holes, and washouts. Come Prepared! Most of this trail is wide enough for two vehicles, but there are limited places to pass. This is not a difficult trail at all, but it does contain a lot of fun and beauty. This trail also gives access to other great trails nearby. Regardless of the conditions or length of this trail, it's a fun route to check out! As always, PLEASE TREAD LIGHTLY and be respectful of our public lands so future generations can have access to these trails!
