Trail Overview
No. 12 Trail is a pivotal trail that gives access to more than 20 trails within the Cadillac Forest Management Unit. This track is very similar to its neighbor trail, Heart Creek Trail. Most of the trail consists of gravel, sand, and dirt. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause downed trees, washouts, & mud holes. Use this route to lead you to some amazing campsites along the Manistee River. Use caution heading down this trail, as there are a lot of logging operations taking place. Be sure to take in the wonderful views of the tunnel of trees as well as the green fern fields. You won't regret taking this track!
