Trail Overview
NFS 9930 is a seasonal bidirectional trail located within the Manistee National Forest. Starting from the north end, you'll be greeted by towering red pine trees right along the trail. As you weave along the track, you could come across some washouts, some mud holes, and some washboard sections. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause unfavorable conditions on the trail including downed trees, mud holes, and washouts. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. This is not a difficult trail, but it still contains a lot of beauty and gives access to other great trails nearby. The south end of the trail finishes at the Caberfae Highway (M-55). Regardless of the conditions, this is a wonderful trail!
