Trail Overview
NFS 7267 is a fun and scenic bidirectional trail located within the Manistee National Forest. Starting from the west you enter the wooded trail where you'll encounter several small mud holes. There's usually enough room to navigate around these if you should choose to do so. In these areas, the trees and brush around the trail are plenty wide, leaving lots of room to navigate. As you continue along the track, you'll soon be encompassed by towering red pine trees most of the way to the end. There will be several more mud holes along the second half of the trail, but like before, you can typically navigate around these if you'd rather. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause unfavorable conditions on the trail including downed trees, mud holes, and washouts. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. This trail is a bit longer in length than most in the area. That's part of what makes this a great trail on top of its accessibility to other great trails nearby. Regardless of the conditions, this is an awesome trail!
