NFS 6646 is a short, easy, and scenic trail located within the Manistee National Forest. This trail connects NFS 5485 to NFS 6645. Like most of Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause unfavorable conditions on the trail, including downed trees, mud holes, and washouts. Come prepared. Most of this trail is only wide enough for one vehicle, with limited places to pass. There are a few washboard sections to keep an eye out for during your trek. Be sure to check this trail out during the fall months for great fall foliage. Regardless of the conditions or length, this is a spectacular trail that will lead to more adventures!
