Trail Overview
Grassy Grown Trail is exactly what you'd expect--grassy. This trail is unique in the fact that even though it's trafficked frequently, the trail is still almost completely grass-covered for a very large majority of its length. As you navigate down the 2-track, you'll be encompassed by a gorgeous section of pine trees. Most of this trail consists of grass with some dirt towards the end. Like most Michigan trails, conditions are dependent on the weather. Recent rainfall can cause unfavorable conditions on the trail including downed trees, mud holes, and washouts. Most of this trail is only wide enough for 1 vehicle with limited places to pass. Regardless of the conditions, this is a cool trail that everyone should check out! Side note: this trail is very easy and is a great track for beginners to start on to get some "seat time."
