This is a quick and easy two-lane dirt and gravel road that can be traveled by any rig. This trail leads to great views and some amazing hiking trails. At the end of this route, there are signs about the surrounding area with details about the nearby hiking trails. It also provides information about camping nearby. Cell service is spotty here, so offline maps will always be a good idea. This is a great trail to start your adventure in the Jordan River Valley area. We are all visitors here, so please be cautious and courteous of the surrounding land and animals. Practice safe and effective Tread Lightly principles to ensure this land stays open for us to use.

History

This area gets its name from a man who died back in 1910, logging this area. While working, a trailer loaded down with timber slipped and ran him over, killing him on the hill. It's been called Deadman Hill ever since.

Access Description

This is an out-and-back trail that travels east and west. The trail can be accessed off of US 131 on the east side of the trail.
