Trail Overview
Creek Crossing is an entertaining trail that winds through the hardwoods of the Gladwin Forest Management Unit. It's a sandy dirt two-track that travels through wooded areas, clearings, and logged areas. Opportunities to observe wildlife are numerous. There is a large downed tree and a water hole on the trail, but there is a bypass to get around the obstacles. You can attempt the water hole if you feel your equipment is up to the challenge. Some minor scraping of tree branches is possible as the trail can be tight in sections. The trail gets its name from a small creek crossing you will have to make. The water is shallow, but the approach in and out of the creek is short and steep. There are also some spurs if you want to increase your adventure. There are no ORVs allowed on this trail.
