CR501 is another section of dirt road that will lead you to Crisp Point Lighthouse. The road can be challenging during spring thaw and heavy rain. You will come across a single-lane bridge over a small creek. This area of trails is in the Newberry Forest Management Unit. There is limited cellphone service on most of the trails in this area.

Muddy/Wet
A little muddy but that’s perfectly fine! This was a fun little trail with quite a few offshoots. Be careful and pay attention when exploring so you don’t end up on private land. I would say when dry it’s passable by any vehicle but wet would require 4wd. The lighthouse and trail were 100% worth going off my main route.
