Trail Overview
Bannis Road is an unmaintained road, open June 1st through December 30th. A rolling, wooded trail, it is easily completed with any high-clearance vehicle, with only a few deep gullies and ledges. It does feed into several other trails, some permitting ATVs and dirt bikes, and others for non-motorized use only.

Difficulty
This road is a mixture of dirt and rocks, with some small ledges and gullies, and can be wet depending on the time of year.
History
Two cemeteries rise out of the woods, one the Tower family cemetery, and the other the Babbit cemetery. The Tower cemetery is the burial site of the "first witch of Savoy," Florinda Granger, and her husband Orin Tower, who operated a grain mill close by. Presumably, the same one passed on the left if approaching the cemetery from the south.
