The Bird Road

Trail Overview

This is a very popular trail that takes you from Elk Creek Reservoir up into the mountains. The trail is usually very muddy almost year-round, especially in the shadier timbered areas so expect to get a little dirty. This trail can be difficult for some, one small section includes some very steep climbs/descents. This is a heavily ridden trail, expect to see other vehicles along the way. There are some large mud holes at both ends of the trail.
