Trail Overview
This road provides access to Forest Service and BLM lands from the amazing BLM Birch Creek Campground. The upper mile-or-so of this road is very rough and slows travel to a few miles per hour, but gradually improves until it becomes a very nice two-lane gravel road. The road travels through a historical mining area and there are opportunities to explore side roads and old diggings.
