Trail Overview

This long dusty road is heavily timbered & logged at this time. The road is wide enough for two vehicles to pass, there are some narrow areas around switchbacks though. Be aware of logging trucks coming off this mountain. Elk River is the nearest town with amenities like fuel, a general store, restaurants, and bars. There are plenty of dispersed camping options in the area to choose from. Cell service is slim to none in this area, you may get extended service depending on your provider.

Difficulty

There are some uneven, rutted, and washboard areas with the potential for loose rocks and sandy washes. Blind corners, ledges, and short, steep grades. This road is wider with places to pass. Be very cautious of logging trucks coming around the blind corners.
