Trail Overview

Danskin #302 is a short trail used to connect with #301 but has a tricky rock obstacle in a creek crossing. It drops down from ATV #300 on a grassy hillside towards the creek, with really neat granite rock towers on the sides of the trail. The creek crossing has a bunch of boulders in the trail that create a pinch. There are rocks and a flat log piled up to help make it a ramp, but it's easy to slide off the ramp into the pinch. It drops you into a cool valley full of more of granite rock boulders by a wooded creek at the Intersection with 301. The scenery on this trail is really beautiful, at the bottom of a green valley with granite boulders on the hillsides.
