Trail Overview

Sunset Trail South is a rugged, rutted track that offers a true off-road challenge. Even during the dry season, several deep water crossings remain, and the trail's soft, uneven surface demands high clearance and four-wheel drive. After heavy rains, expect conditions to worsen significantly with deeper mud and standing water. This is a great trail for experienced drivers looking for technical fun in classic Florida terrain. Use caution, scout deep sections, and consider riding in a group. Pack in, pack out, leave no trace, and tread lightly.
