Trail Overview

Sunset Trail North is a quiet one-lane forest track that meanders through tall pines and dense underbrush, providing a peaceful ride deeper into the Apalachicola National Forest. The sandy surface stays fairly stable in dry conditions but may develop soft patches and puddles during the rainy season. A few small pull-offs offer potential dispersed camping spots, and the trail connects to several other trails for continued exploration. It's a mellow, scenic route perfect for a slower-paced ride. Pack in, pack out, leave no trace, and tread lightly.
