Trail Overview
SR 114 is a short connector trail located south of the Wiregrass Trail near Hurricane Lake in Blackwater River State Forest. The route travels through longleaf pine forest and gradually descends in stepped grades toward the Blackwater River. SR 114 serves as a route leading toward the Blackwater River and connects with SR 119 deeper in the forest. As the trail approaches the river basin, the road becomes narrower, and vegetation begins to crowd the trail corridor.

Difficulty
The trail is maintained but includes sections of loose sand, which can become soft during dry periods. Closer to the river, the trail narrows significantly, and overhanging brush can contact vehicles. Pinstriping is possible in these tighter sections.
