Trail Overview
SFR 21 is one of the more intense routes in Tate's Hell State Forest, cutting through dense swamp and rugged terrain. This trail is known for its super-deep creek crossings and long stretches of thick mud, especially during the rainy season. Water levels can reach hood height in some spots, making this a solid 5-rated trail that's best tackled with high-clearance, well-equipped rigs. The surrounding forest is raw and wild--true to the legend of Tate's Hell. An adventurous route not to be taken lightly. Pack in, pack out, leave no trace, and tread lightly.
