Trail Overview
SEC123 is a narrow, single-lane trail branching off Nero Road within Tate's Hell State Forest. The trail begins relatively dry and open but gradually transitions into a thicker forest with several deep mud holes that can be challenging during the rainy season. A notable feature is a river crossing with a firm gravel bottom--manageable in the dry season but worth scouting after heavy rains. While not as swampy as some surrounding routes, this trail still offers that classic wild Florida feel with dense vegetation and remote vibes.
