Trail Overview

Scenic Washboard dirt road running across the National Forest. During the Spring and Summer months a very beautiful green foliage can be seen. There are dozens of Florida butterflies, and other wildlife that to be seen in the area as well. Two built bridges on the West half of the trail allow access to clear shallow water. Low-effort trail that Provides access to a dozen more difficult off-shooting trails. Otherwise, an enjoyable Nature trail that is easy to drive through.

Difficulty

Easy trail, most of the trail is two cars wide. 4 wheel drive is not necessary, just some ground clearance and careful driving. Some parts will have rising water during rainy periods. The terrain is mostly loose clay dirt with sand mixed in here and there.

West side access off Highway 20 onto W Joe Thomas RoadEast side, Head down Silver Lake Road until the "to SR 20" and head West.
