Trail Overview
This trail is located within Osceola National Forest and the Osceola Wildlife Management Area. The trail is open to public access year-round unless otherwise posted. This trail may be ridden by registered motor vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, recreational off-highway vehicles (side-by-sides), and unlicensed or unregistered motorcycles. Vehicles are only allowed on named and numbered trails. There are select areas where county-owned and maintained roads prohibit the use of OHV's, ATV's and unregistered/non-licensed motorcycles on the right of ways. These areas are well posted on the shoulders of the roadways. This is the only National Forest that offers fee-free, no-permit-required access year-round. The trail leads to Olustee Beach recreation area and The Landings group recreation areas. The trailhead is located off County Road 250 just north of State Road 90 in Olustee. It can also be accessed via the main entry drive to Olustee Beach Recreation Area. The main recreation area drive, County Road 250 and State Road 90, are all paved and maintained by State or County service crews. FR 732 is maintained by the Department of Forestry. Following rain or storm events, this trail may go unmaintained. The trail is a low challenge, two vehicle-wide dirt and sand road that is safe for most 2WD vehicles. It cuts through rural farmlands and homesteads, leading out to the recreation areas. The trail did have some minor ruts and washboarding. There were some short straight segments of loose gravel where washes may be an issue following rain events.
