Trail Overview
This is a flat, graded gravel and dirt road that leads to the Bluefield Ranch Preserve. The trail receives regular maintenance in the form of grading as the trail not only serves the Preservation area, but also the adjacent and surrounding cattle ranches and farms. This is a very scenic ride, and the opportunity to spot wildlife is very good. Deer, turkey, hogs, bobcats, and many more species may be viewed, as well as the curious cattle. The trail is compacted limestone and dirt. Following heavy rains there may be some ponding or shallow water crossings. In general, this trail is safe for all street-legal vehicles and bicycles. At the end, there are designated parking areas that lead to many miles of hiking, biking, and horseback trails.
