Trail Overview
This is a short, easy trail to see the ruins of the Red Buck Mine. It was part of the Columbine Mining Complex. There is a descriptive placard of the complex on the first cabin. There are a few old cabins and machinery in the area. Continue around on the trail to the right and view the old ore car rails and dilapidated stamping mill.

History
This trail goes through the area that was once the town of Abbeyville. There is one cabin still standing on the eastern edge of the meadow. When the town of Abbeyville declined, most of the structures were dismantled and used to build the town of Tin Cup.
