Trail Overview

This is a fun drive for both licensed and unlicensed vehicles. You can take it in either direction. You'll either start or finish at Rainbow Falls OHV Area. Camping is available, but restricted to designated sites. There are a lot of side roads in the area, especially on the south end.

Difficulty

Easy. Fun mix of twisting, undulating, banked dirt roads. Prone to washouts and ruts, but typically suitable for stock, high-clearance 4x4 SUVs and pickup trucks. Side roads vary from easy to very difficult.

Trail was clear all along even through some of the side trails. Saw a few Park Rangers on SXS AND about 4 to 5 other vehicles, but other than that, everything was smooth and lots of fun, saw plenty of potential camping spots..

Pretty easy trails, very dusty, cool vies and good camping spots.
