Trail Overview
This is a really neat little trail off of Buff Pass with some unique rock features. It starts on the east end at a wooden bridge at the intersection with Hayden Archer Connector and a hiking trail then has some tight switchbacks down the open hillside. It goes past some huge granite boulders in a really scenic landscape, and then the trail enters the boulders with a few slab rock obstacles. These require you to ride up the face of the big embedded boulders and back down. There are some twisty turns with small boulders in the trail, making it more challenging. It winds down the hillside on several rock obstacles until it ends on a dirt road. You can take this rocky dirt road back to Buff Pass. This is a really fun one with beautiful scenery and is also a popular area for mountain bikers.
