Trail Overview
This short out-and-back offers plenty of punch for a little trail. The entire trail borders the Indian Pass Wilderness and ends at the Vinagre Wash. There is an old mineshaft and evidence of settlers from past times. The trail is a fun two-track with some steep off-camber drops. There are climbs with loose rocks as well as sandy washes. Plenty of sharp Ocotillo and cholla cacti grow along the trail's edges. Several nice secluded campfire rings make for a peaceful night of dispersed camping in the desert. Some cell service exists, but Verizon LTE remained along the entire trail.
